I'm 21, I have chronic pain and chronic illness thanks to genetics and being I'm straight edge. Sometimes I get hate because I use Medical cbd for my pain. They have the best peanuts and tofu recipe with scallions and hot chili or habanero oil (Craig would love it, since it is kind of like Rainbow Plant Life). Vegan is definitely a good way to eat but everything he is saying pinpoints hate against the bible, the very Manual how people and animals were created for and allocated for. Animals cannot abstract. Place a box infront of a cow's heard. And thet will stop from walking. Because they do not know what to do. Any changes their brain cannot understand. ANIMALS are made that way. People CAN ABSTRACT thinking. That is why we are superiors to ANIMALS. That is why we have PETS. because if PETS can think, nobody needs to take care of them when they reach maturity.

Lord this guy is super good at pushing emotional ideals and wording things to make it sound a certain way. He uses misinformation and half truths to push an agenda. You can word the process of making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in a way that makes it sound horrific. Artificial insemination is not the horrific process is made out to be. Yes death looks awful have you ever watched a cat hunt? Have you ever watched any predator hunt its not different than watching that slaughter process. Now i wont speak on the other countries but im pretty sure those videos from American slaughterhouses were old or they chose select houses because in the US the killing process is quick and painless like the one pig. The flailing you see is the nerves firing off its a death twitch it happens in nature too. Are there farms slaughterhouses and other places where animals actually mistreated? Of course but those are a minority. Before listening and accepting this loudmouths words please go talk to an actual farmer go listen and understand what they do and why they do it. When you actually go to learn its not the horror that this man and other vegans like him claim. The vast majority of farmers hate animal abuse and care for their animals more than Gary here could ever imagine and not just because theyre our money makers but because we do understand their value.

Let's not forget that the human workers'conditions inside those factories are insanely inhuman and stressful, a lot of people die by sleeping in the blood and crashing their head, or cutting off some body members because of tiredness. We vegans need to realise that the true enemy isn't us as society, but those industries that only exist and do things this way because of Capitalism (since they're the Capital). Let's not rage on the workers, rage on the industry, the system and the capitalist (owners of the factory)

This speaker is telling LIES about feral cats and abadoned cats. He's telling LIES about PETA..😡🤬I've rescued and adopted dozens of cats and a few dogs. I fed a feral cat through the winter. One day he was so hungry he ate spoiled couscus (a grain) out of the trash. Another day he dug his way thru the snow from under a foot bridge. When i trapped him he had no whiskers on one side of his face. One ear and half his tail was frozen off. Do you know how painful that is?? He lived a long life with me, but I could never pet him. He was feral. It would have taken a stick of dynamite to get him out of the house. He HATED the outdoors!!! There was a large dog kennel on my front porch with a cat door. It took him months before he would sit in the kennel outside. This feral cat did NOT want to be free outdoors. He was miserable outside, not happy. He wanted to be inside forever!! I helped a guy rescue some cats at a motel where he was living. A cat had kittens, but only 2 survived. He adopted the 2 kittens. We don't know what happened to the mother and other adult males. The two cats he rescued and adopted were born feral --meaning born wild with no human contact. He gradually tamed them so by the end of winter he could pick them up. Once they got inside they NEVER wanted to go out again. They had suffered enough. When he moved to an apt with a balcony, they did not want to sit on it outside. So don't tell me feral cats are happy. Don't tell me humane euthansia by PETA is worse than slowly dying a hortible death. What if this guy had not fed them thru the wiinter? Freezing and starving to death. Is that the way YOU would like to die?? Better to skip the terrible suffering before you die. There are simply not enough homes for every cat and dog born.This speaker has obviously never worked in a shelter or with a rescue group. He's never witnessed all the suffering. He's never had to refuse to take in an animal because the shelter was too full. His remarks about feral cats and PETA is wrong. Hes flat out lying. Ingrid Newkirk is concerned about abandoned cats who don't know how to survive outdoors. Cars arer not the only concern. Starvation, disease, dying of thirst, dehydration, injuries. All of it involves horrible suffering. Yet he only talks about squirrels getting hit in the road. Lies by omission. PETA and Ingrid Newkirk have pushed the animal rights movement farther ahead in 43 years than any other organization or person. They have saved more animals than this speaker will ever save.

Domesticated dogs and cats cannot survive on their own. There's a serious overpopulation crisis of cats and dogs. There simply aren't enough homes for all of them. I don't remember where I read this statistic--every household in America would have to adopt 15 cats and 13 dogs -*-every year-*- to keep up with the nbr of animals born. It's easier to find homes for puppies and kittens. According to the Humane Society of the U.S. if a cat or dog stays in the same home for one year, that's considered good. People think nothing of discarding an animal if it becomes inconvenient. While working with shelters abdcrescue groups ive heard the most appalling flimsy excuses for giving up these precious animals who have feelings and intelligence. Shelterscare almost always full, its hard to find homes for cats and dogs, especially adults. So whatbdo people do with animal they no longer want? They euthanize them (put hem "to sleep"), or even worse, they abandon them on the side of the road, in a parking lot, or leave them behind when they move. A fate worse than death. Slow starvation, freezing to death, heat stroke, dying of thirst in winter and summer. When this speaker claims Ingrid Newkirk's only reason for euthanizing them is so they won't get hit by cars, *HE IS TELLING YOU A BIG LIE!" If you knew you were going to die, would you wantvto be tortured 1st, and then die?? Or would you choose a fast painless death surrounded by people who love you?? A year ago i was admitted into the hospital for the 1st time in my life. I left before I should have because i hadv2 cats at home with no one to care for them. I went into the hospital unexpectedly in an emergency during a holiday weekend -- couldn't find anyone to care for my cats. When I returned home I was in bad shape. I didn't eat for 4 days. I was shaking with bad chills. I crawled to the door to get a grocery delivery. I was so sick, weak, and suffering. Maybe I caught covid in the hospital, I don't know. I remember thinking this is what it feels like to die. I kept thinking of all the abandoned cats and dogs, starving, suffering. Even worse, abandonedcanimals are frightened and have no shelter. Sick, starving, freezing. Thats why PETA gives them a humane death. It's simply impossible to keep all of them .PETA looks for homes. They save as many asvtgey can. The speaker didn't tell you that fact.

I think you may have had some overcrowding in the pots with some of your plants (trust me, I learned the hard way!). Most plants need way more space than you'd think. I don't even think you could plant ONE zucchini plant in a pot, much less several. Our plants are GIANT, so I think they just need way more dirt/compost. Cucumber plants... probably one per pot with plenty of soil, but even they might not thrive in a pot. Broccoli also needs a lot of space, they get huge! I think your plants were all just stunted from lack of space. I know it's frustrating this year, but all you can do is take what you learn and improve for next year! Also some years are just worse than others for one reason or another (weather, bugs, etc). Last year we only got like 2 zucchinis total (out of 3 or 4 plants), and this year we've gotten at LEAST 20 from the same number of plants, and they're still going too! Gardening can be rewarding but also very frustrating! Good luck next year, don't give up!

I have grown broccoli this summer- no flower head as of yet but discovered you can eat the leaves! Have put them in tofu scramble instead of spinach and was really good 😊

They may just need a little more room. You could maybe look into building some simple raised beds for next season. They don't have to be fancy, you can even start looking for scrap wood from pallets to build them (there are free plans online). Potatoes you can even grow in big burlap coffee bags or a big tub/bin, you just keep throwing soil on top as the plant grows upwards. And Kale will grow in just about anything and keep coming back.

maybe too much water. Are the leaves yellowing from bottom of plant upwards? Peas/beans need to be picked as soon as ready or the plant thinks it has done its job and dies. Nice to see ol Indie. I haven't seen him in a bit. I think "gardening with James Prigioni" is in a similar zone as you and he has a lot of good info, for trying to make stuff simple and effective for small areas.
